fishing report

Pecos River: Good
Flows are 77cfs, water is clear and cool. Great flow, baetis in the
afternoon and still some caddis flying around during the day and late
eve. Midges are working well in the morning. Move a little slower,
use a little longer leader.

Jemez : Good
Flows below Jemez Springs are 15 cfs, water is mostly clear and
cooling. Small mayflies and some caddis still about. The East Fork,
San Antonio, and Guadalupe are all fishing well.

West slope Sangre De Cristo streams: Good
Santa Barbara, Rio Pueblo etc. are all low and clear. Temps are
cooling and fishing has been good using small caddis and mayfly
patterns.

Rio Grande Wild Rivers: Good
Flows are 55 near Cerro, water is mostly clear. Dry dropper with
caddis nymphs, deep nymph riggs, and some streamer activity.

Rio Grande, Taos Junction: Good
Flows are 197cfs, water is fairly clear, even some dries in the eve.
Great conditions for the big river, should get better and better
through the fall. Baetis late in the day and good nymping through out
the day, try the streamer deep and start rigging for some pike as well,
some spotted and a few caught.

Red River: Good
Flows are 50 cfs near the hatchery, very clear as long as no recent
rain, fishing has been rather good, the dry dropper is the rig of
choice, watch for baetis and caddis. The upper Chama is fishing well,
but Below El Vado, and Abiquiu the flows are still high
